Decisions Decisions ?

     A person who governed more by intellectual decisons in my opinion makes better choices. The reason I say this is because if someone puts thought into something before they do it the outcome may be different and even in a better way. There are many predicaments where if someone actually thinks about it they will change their mind because if they decide with emotions they can either get swindeled or make an even worse choice. Its using common scence to know what your going to do in a situation and if its going to be the right thing to do.

     Using emotions to decide certain choices kind of reminds me of a quote "think with your heart not with your mind" but i feel that is only something people would say or do in relationships. I think deciding something based on someones emotions is a bad decision because people can have any type of feeling when they make that choice. If their mad the answer could be no, if their happy the answer could be yes. Either way the answer will be different because their will be based on if they feel sorry for you or just the type of mood their in that day. I feel that choices should be made straight forward and at least thought through, not based on how bad you feel or if your not in that mood.

      In conclusion this is how I look at things and from my point of view I feel that it is more reliable. The reason i think it is reliable is because your making decisions off of common sence and think over the situation before answering. Unlike emotions which is based on feelings and how you feel for that person. What ever the situation may be I think you should follow your intellect.

      

       

Urkel-Responsibility

  The way I define personal responsibility is by taking fault for what you have done or taken part in. For instance making bad decisions and not admitting to the choices you have made would show that you have lack of responsibility and many people will not trust you. I feel responsibility is a big deal and not taking part to be responsible can show imatureness. It is very important and can modify the way people think about you. In other words it is accepting the consequences from the actions you have chosen and realizing that it can affect the people around you.

  Knowing to take responsibility if something had happen is easy especially if you took part in it. Like say for example you and a sibling took something from your mother, the reason you bear some responsibility for it is because you were with them and had taken part in trying to succeed. Whatever the situation may be if you planned it or even took any part in doing something you have to take responsibility for your actions. Even if the consequences are unbearable you have to deal with them because at that moment that is the decision you made.

  Personal responsibility is very important and it proves how much you have grown up instead of using pity excuses. It shows how much you had grown from when you were little and used to point fingers. Personal responsibility shows that you acknowledged the choices you make in your life and depending on the type of choices you make it is having to deal with the penalties.

Q:  What are some ways in which people throughout the ages have explored the unknown?

A:  Some ways people throughout the ages have explored the unknown was by dedication and having a mind set of where they are trying to go and explore, kind of like confidence. The reason being is that not many people have lived or even made it to discover such places so it is a big deal if someone has lived to tell their story. For example a man named Marco Polo; he was the most famous western traveler on the Silk Road. His journey through Asia lasted 24 years and he was the only one who had made it that far. Marco traveled through Mongolia and the whole China. Among many other people Marco was the only one who had survived.

Q: Why have individuals devoted themselves to a life of exploration and discovery?

A: Individuals have devoted themselves to a life of exploration because discovering something new and being able to do something that no one else has accomplished is a big achievement. Also, some people do it just for the adventure.

Q: What sacrifices does such devotion involve?

A: When it comes to exploring whether if its sailing or by foot the biggest sacrifice is life. With such devotion a travelers life can be on the line. Because there are many obstacles anything can happen that is why they are dedicated and push so they can succeed.
